The bottle is made from a carbon negative sugarcane bio-polymer:
- Every 1 kilogram of biopolymer produced removes 3.09 kilograms of CO2 from the air through the sugarcane plant.
- The sugarcane is planted in degraded pastureland in Brazil, in regions with lower need for water usage in production, and that do not expand into Amazon nor Pantanal.
