Details

Even before the addition of the plant extracts and essential oils the base itself is food for dry skin.

Hypoallergenic lanolin, Sweet Almond oil and Sunflower Seed oil are three of the main ingredients of the base. Lanolin, chemically, is almost identical to sebum, the natural oil produced by the skin. It is therefore an ideal substance to ‘feed’ to dry skin.

Both Almond and Sunflower Seed oil soften and soothe the skin and also assist in the penetration of other soothing, rejuvenating ingredients.

Weleda bodycare works holistically using only the finest natural ingredients including pure essential oils to stimulate the senses and active plant extracts rich in vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids.These skin-caring nutrients not only improve the condition of the skin, they also help the skin to do what it should do naturally.
